No incidents or near misses this period. Daily toolbox talks and sign-ons completed and audited. An independent safety and environmental audit is planned around beam placement in mid to late October.

Erosion and sediment controls in place. No environmental events this period. Dewatering and spoil management actively controlled ahead of the pour.

Active

Road remains closed to through traffic. Detour signage maintained on both approaches. No open community enquiries. Council's Mayor and Director visited site and noted good progress.

Progress & achievements

Headstocks are completing and will pour this week. Abutment fill is arriving on site. The bridge is out of the ground and substructure is well advanced. Work off site continues in parallel: precast beams are in fabrication, bearings are in manufacture in Malaysia, and deck and barrier steel is on order. Beam delivery around 20 October is the critical date the rest of the programme runs off.

All eight bored piles drilled, verified and poured. Pile caps done.
Pier columns done. Two piers topped out.
Headstock reinforcement in place, ready for pre-pour inspection Tuesday 15 September.
Abutment fill material arriving by road train today and tomorrow. Three more loads expected this week.
